I was lucky the last two winters with being pregnant - and feeling very hot all winter - and being from the country for many of final winter, and not really needing boots at all. This year nonetheless, i am not going anywhere, and I also'm not anticipating any such thing other than mince pies, so I've had to obtain a new couple of cold weather boots.
I had been looking for something that would cover all the basis: it must be flat to facilitate our woodland walks, along with that, comfortable. It needed to be hot, and when possible water evidence, therefore the calves needed seriously to actually fit over my calves - something that rarely takes place with boots and me.

I have high arches and sometimes discover that I but boots I love and then can't wear them quite definitely because my foot ache something fierce. I am thrilled to say that arches notwithstanding, I can spend a morning in the woods in these, and do not have problems. Since I'm no puddle jumper I don't understand how the leg bit cleans up, but the shoe bit wipes clean nicely.
I are generally quite a plain individual, and go for plain colours whenever possible, so these had been a little 'out on a limb' for me, but We do love that they add a bit of colour to the typical black.
When you can tucky our thin jeans into your boot, they also fit under bootleg design jeans, so they are versatile, and fab.
